Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL in North Carolina seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, manage teams, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

You will coordinate schedules, drive lean initiatives, track metrics, and work with plant leadership to meet customer requirements.

This role requires 3+ years supervision, strong leadership, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years in supervisory roles in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics.
  • Experience with hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of production scheduling, materials planning, and Lean practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/Sage experience a plus.
  • Forklift experience/certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; authorized to work in the United States.

  • Monitor productivity, labor utilization, and overtime while driving operational efficiency.
  • Standardize processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with plant leadership to meet production targets and customer requirements.
  • Track and report production output, issues, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure proper staffing and attendance throughout shifts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Work Environment
