The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of production associates to meet daily operational goals in safety, quality, and productivity. This role ensures efficient workflow, fosters continuous improvement, and maintains compliance with company policies and procedures. The supervisor will work closely with cross-functional teams including maintenance, materials planning, and engineering to support cabinet and component production.
Supervise day-to-day operations and ensure alignment with production goals. Administer company policies consistently and equitably. Accept challenges and take responsibility for outcomes.
Safety is non-negotiable at the Kinston facility. Supervisors must enforce PPE usage and safety protocols, identify and address safety concerns proactively, and promote a culture of health awareness and compliance with Critical 15 standards.
Supervisors should have a strong grasp of manufacturing processes and equipment. Key attributes include the ability to coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams and familiarity with ERP systems and production scheduling.
Candidates are evaluated on their ability to uphold and improve quality standards. They must identify potential quality issues and implement corrective actions, ensuring consistent adherence to product specifications and process controls.
Supervisors work cross-functionally with planning, materials, and HR. They are expected to collaborate effectively with other supervisors and departments, support knowledge transfer and training across shifts and sites as necessary, lead with empathy and build trust within their teams, and hold team members accountable, in partnership with HR, to all company policies and standards.
Supervisors are key drivers of lean initiatives and process optimization. They should participate in and lead continuous improvement activities, use data to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions, and support MasterBrand Business System, Daily Management, and 6S efforts.
