West Fraser, a diversified wood products company, is seeking a Production Supervisor for our SC facility. You will supervise all production activities and staff, coach team members, and drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement on a 12-hour rotating shift in a 24/7 operation.
You will partner with Facility Engineering and Maintenance, manage daily tasks, training programs, SOPs, and payroll for operators while promoting from within and maintaining strong cross-functional communication
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of all production activities and staff. The Production Supervisor will motivate and encourage production members to achieve and maintain maximum production levels. The Production Supervisor is responsible for the safety and welfare of all employees, process efficiency, the quality and quantity of all products produced, cost control and effective communication with his or her superiors, peers, and direct reports, and address maintenance issues. This position will oversee and assist with the daily Plant operations including Continuous Improvement activities. This position will work in 12 hour rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation activities.
