Job Summary
The Manufacturing Process Manager I provides leadership, supervises, and coordinates manufacturing production, shipping, and maintenance activities. Ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met is essential.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

1. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies, supporting our Zero Harm initiative.
2. Plan work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet goals.
3. Maintain operational data, such as productivity and material usage, and report to management.
4. Coordinate activities with management and other departments.
5. Resolve work-related issues, conduct training, and address quality and productivity concerns.
6. Report time and attendance accurately.
7. Participate in continuous improvement and corrective actions.
8. Perform housekeeping, 5-S, and related duties.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient computer skills.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost management.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to identify process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Decision-making skills considering costs and benefits.
• Leadership skills to motivate and develop employees.
• Ability to multitask across various departmental processes.
• Understanding and operation of departmental equipment and tools.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.

Preferred:

• Associate’s degree in Business or related field.
• Over 1 year of leadership experience.
• More than 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes.
