Job summary

PLZ Corp seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee its Personal Care products operations. You will ensure smooth, efficient manufacturing by monitoring staff and coordinating workflows, while optimizing day-to-day activities and minimizing costs.

In this fast-paced role, you will lead a shift, enforce GMP, provide coaching, and work with the Production Manager to hit daily targets. SAP production knowledge is required; OSHA CPIM/CMS a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; a BS in engineering is a plus.
• 2–3 years of relevant manufacturing supervisory experience.
• SAP production knowledge.
• OSHA safety certification; CPIM and CMS are a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety-first culture in the workplace.
• Monitor and lead production on the line.
• Coordinate with Production Manager on daily targets.
• Ensure GMP guidelines and SOPs are followed.
• Train/mentor production staff on SOPs.
• Identify efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
• Communicate production targets and issues to team.
• Overtime availability as required.

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our Personal Care products operation. You'll guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. In our fast-paced environment, the supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process. They must be competent and comprehend complex operations. You should also be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

Key Responsibility:

• Promote safety-first culture that fosters an injury free workplace.
• Monitor and leads the production
• Work directly with Production manager to manage daily production numbers
• Follow and enforces established safety rules and regulations
• Follow all SOP's and Work Instructions and communicates improvements and changes as required
• Respond to emergencies and notify management immediately
• Monitors that goods are produced efficiently and to the correct quality standard
• Train/assist production employees on all SOP's (filling, packing, change over, sanitation etc.)
• Promote, motivate, and provides mentoring and guidance to employees
• Continuously looking for efficiencies and safety improvement(s)
• Follows and enforces GMP guidelines
• Works directly with maintenance to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
• Excellent communication skills (leads 1st shift tier meeting, communicates daily production targets)
• Must have SAP production knowledge
• Must be available for overtime when required
• Other specific duties as requested by management

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma, BS in engineering a plus
• 2-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
• SAP
• Prior supervisory experience
• OSHA Safety certification, Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), and Certified Manufacturing Specialist (CMS) a plus
