Production Supervisor

Job Description

Ensures the production line delivers internal and external customer satisfaction regarding order fulfillment. This is achieved by balancing and aligning resources to meet quality, schedule, and cost objectives. Coordinates production planning and scheduling in conjunction with materials management. Works with Manufacturing Engineering to identify, develop, and implement equipment, processes, and procedures to support production goals.

Product Delivery Responsibilities

• Manage production line functions to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets
• Optimize human and equipment resources for efficiency
• Establish and maintain production quality targets
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement

Planning

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for production planning to meet customer needs
• Evaluate capacity and scheduling to align with operational goals
• Provide input for effective work scheduling

Processes

• Identify processes, methods, and equipment to enhance performance
• Collaborate with engineering on new product releases and design guidance

People Management

• Maintain attendance records
• Provide performance feedback, coaching, and disciplinary actions when necessary
• Ensure training requirements are met and recommend additional training as needed

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience preferred
• Intermediate computer skills in email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Microsoft Project, and MRP/ERP systems

Required Experience and Education

• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience, preferably in electronics manufacturing
• Effective communication skills across organizational levels, demonstrating honesty, professionalism, respect, trust, and teamwork
