Job summary

Molex in Hudson, WI is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of production associates and technicians, ensuring output meets customer demands while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will drive operational excellence, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to implement process improvements and lean manufacturing practices. The role requires hands-on leadership and a focus on developing people.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
  • 1+ year of leadership or management experience.
  • Experience analyzing key manufacturing metrics and applying standard production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage shift schedules to coordinate manufacturing activities effectively.
  • Monitor production KPIs and adjust staffing or workflow to meet targets without compromising quality or safety.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and implement process improvements.
  • Direct and oversee employee activities, including approval of work schedules, overtime, and vacation requests.
  • Review and approve work instructions; ensure all employees receive adequate training on procedures and techniques.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of direct reports; provide recognition, coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective counseling as necessary.
  • Ensure the safe and proper operation of machines and equipment.
  • Develop, update, and enforce standard work practices to maintain compliance.
  • Analyze production and operational reports to address and resolve manufacturing and maintenance issues efficiently, minimizing costs and delays.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, cost reduction, quality enhancement, and lean manufacturing practices.

Our new operation in Hudson, WI is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team!

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, ensuring quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will lead a team of production associates and technicians, ensuring output meets customer demands while upholding safety and compliance standards. This role requires hands‑on leadership, problem‑solving skills, and a strong focus on people development.

Shift: 2 nd Shift, Monday – Thursday, 3:30pm – 1:30am

*Shift structure and times are subject to change per the business’s needs.

What You Will Do

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or technical environment
  • 1+ year of leadership or management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing key manufacturing metrics and applying standardized production processes in a manufacturing environment.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field.
  • Experience in electronics or high-tech manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience using ERP systems and production tracking tools.
