Job summary

County Materials Family of Companies is seeking a Production Supervisor for Holmen, WI. You will lead foremen and hourly team members to ensure safe, efficient production that meets internal standards and customer expectations.

Role includes duty to drive schedules, monitor labor budgets, and develop staff while upholding OSHA and our safety culture. Expect up to 40% travel and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily manufacturing and yard operations for efficiency.
  • Manage labor budgets and schedules; monitor timecards.
  • Maintain quality standards and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare production reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with Quality Control to meet production goals and on-time delivery.
  • Oversee maintenance, tools, and equipment usage; ensure safety.

We're hiring a Production Supervisor to join County Materials in Holmen, WI.

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor oversees and ensures consistent operation standards. This role involves developing and monitoring team members and meeting the demands of internal and external customers, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, customer specifications, and internal standards. This individual leads our Foreman, Hourly Team Members and works consistently with our Location Leaders driving exceptional quality while embracing the Company Vision and Mission Statement.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily manufacturing and yard operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensures adherence to production schedules and meets or exceeds labor budget targets.
  • Maintains quality standards and implements necessary corrective actions.
  • Responsible for budgeted labor allocation.
  • Manages and oversees team members' schedules and maintains daily timecards.
  • Prepare daily and weekly production reports for management review.
  • Coordinates with Quality Control and other plant supervision to ensure all production goals are achieved, meeting timely product delivery.
  • Oversees material inventory to ensure timely availability of resources.
  • Ensures compliance with OSHA and company safety standards, prioritizing team member safety.
  • Leads, trains, and develops team members in safe and efficient processes.
  • Evaluates and documents performance of direct reports to support development and accountability, fostering a culture of respect.
  • Oversees procurement of maintenance and manufacturing supplies.
  • Manages overall site maintenance and proper use of molds, machinery, and tools.
  • Communicates progress, issues, and resource needs to management.

  • Microsoft Advanced knowledge, working knowledge, and experience with Prestress-related equipment.
Work Environment:
  • Work is typically performed in indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Exposure may include weather, noise, etc.
  • Travel required: [40%]
  • Typical work hours/shifts: Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time for site visits, customer meetings, and industry events.
