Job summary

ManpowerGroup is assisting a busy Hanover, PA manufacturer in hiring a Production Supervisor to join their team on second shift. You will oversee frontline operators, ensure safety and quality, and drive production plans to meet targets.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience, a HS Diploma/GED or higher, and the ability to train on 1st and 3rd shifts. Union experience is preferred; a competitive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum education HSD or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-years supervisory experience in manufacturing setting.
• Experience in managing and inspiring direct reports.
• Union experience preferred.
• Due to the nature of work, only US persons will be considered for role.
• Ability to train on 1st and 3rd shift.

• Independently analyzes product and equipment specs to meet day-to-day production goals while maintaining quality and safety.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager for resource analysis and capacity planning.
• Plan and assign work according to changing priorities.
• Motivate machine operators to accomplish production goals.
• Initiate Production System to improve product flow.
• Train, mentor and supervise the machine operators for skills development.
• Perform defect root cause analysis and mitigation.
• Perform product margin analyses.
• Perform departmental administrative duties as assigned.

$75K - Two Available Shifts

Second Shift Mon-Friday 3pm-11pm

Third Shift 11pm-7am

Manpower is assisting a busy manufacturer local to Hanover in hiring a Production Supervisor to join their amazing team of professionals pm second shift!

Key Responsibilities

• Independently analyzes product and equipment specifications and performance Day-to-day meeting of the production goals while maintaining both Quality and Safety standards.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager for resource analysis and capacity planning.
• Plan and assign work according to changing priorities.
• Motivate machine operators to accomplish production goals.
• Initiate Production System to improve product flow.
• Train, mentor and supervise the machine operators for continued improvement of skills and development of human capital.
• Perform defect root cause analysis and mitigation.
• Perform product margin analyses.
• Perform departmental administrative duties as assigned.
