Production Supervisor

Experience:

2-3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting

Experience leading teams of at least 10-12 employees

Duties Include:

Customer Focus

• Maintain schedule compliance and established production rates
• Ensure product meets quality requirements
• Update metric boards regularly and address deficiencies
• Maintain constant employee contact and visibility
• Communicate regularly with 1st shift regarding compliance, problems, or support needed
• Solve problems or mitigate their impact as they arise

Production Support

• Enforce shop floor rules and document verbal warnings
• Conduct team meetings and annual performance reviews
• Ensure adherence to established processes and procedures
• Ensure new employees are successfully onboarded and trained
• Cross-train as needed to meet production goals
• Coordinate shift hand-offs and communicate schedule status, issues, priorities, etc.
• Communicate the need for process-related supplies
• Maintain a safe working environment following procedures and guidelines
