Job summary

Oldcastle APG, part of CRH, seeks an experienced team lead for the Great Lakes manufacturing operations. The role oversees shift performance, trains staff, and ensures safety and quality standards are met across production lines.

The position requires prior team leadership in manufacturing, strong equipment operation skills (forklift, bobcat, loader), and the ability to work in varied environmental conditions. Comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience providing on-the-job training to team members including forklift, bobcat, and loader operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and endure climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Work in all environmental conditions and extreme temperatures.
• Strong commitment to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set production goals and expectations.
• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment; set up and operate machinery.
• Listen for unusual sounds from machines to detect malfunctions and discuss with maintenance.
• Operate forklift as directed while complying with safety policies.
• Inspect work in progress and finished products.
• Oversee the daily preventive maintenance program.
• Track and report inventory and parts usage.
• Analyze scorecards and day shift production reports.
• Train, promote, and discipline employees.
• Ensure all safety rules are followed by the team.
• Supervise department to meet quality and production standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Set production goals and expectations

Job Requirements

• Previousteam lead experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience providing on the job training to team members to include but not limited to the operation of forklift, bobcat, loader, and development of production machine troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift up to 50poundsand endure intermittent climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Walking up and down elevated catwalks and stairs and standing for long periods of time
• Abilityto work in all environmental conditions and extreme temperatures
