Job summary

Nestlé Purina Fort Dodge plant is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate all first line management functions for production planning, output, equipment maintenance and safety. You’ll lead and mentor hourly teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting to drive continuous improvement and ensure GMP adherence.

Responsibilities include managing weekly production schedules, coaching teams, and maintaining a safe, quality-focused operation that supports Nestlé’s commitment to pet care excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing or related environments.
• 1+ years’ supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Must be able to work nights on a 2/2/3 schedule.

• Manage and execute weekly production schedules.
• Coach integrated work groups to achieve results based on the factory’s continuous improvement plan.
• Ensure products are produced in compliance with key quality check points and within “Good Manufacturing Practices.”
• Support Total Performance Management (TPM).
• Lead by example as you enforce a safe working environment for associates.

As a Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the coordination of all first line management functions regarding production planning, production output, equipment maintenance, management of people, quality, and safety. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment

• 1+ years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment

The approximate pay range for this position is $63,000 - $106,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
