Job summary

Kramer Enterprises, Inc. in Ohio seeks a supervisor to work with the Production Manager to lead a cost-efficient, high-productivity laundry facility with trained associates who take pride in teamwork and safety.

The role supports safety, efficiency, and daily operations, including training, prioritizing workloads, and monitoring quality. 2-4 years of supervisory experience preferred; hourly rate discussed during interview. EOE.

Qualifications

Job description

An individual with 2-4 years of supervisory experience. Will work in tandum with Production Manager to lead a low cost, high productivity laundry facility, with highly trained associates that take pride in their work, their teamwork and positive attitudes. To provide a safe work environment with zero loss time due to work related accidents. Aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:

• Monitor associates and answer associate questions


• Inform maintenance of equipment issues


• Look for ways to improve efficiencies


• Monitor and report associate efficiencies daily


• Set priorities in order to make daily loads


• Move associates to different jobs when needed


• Help train new hires or people being cross trained


• Report any safety issues to Production Manager and/or maintenance


• Help cover jobs during times of absenteeism


• Monitor the quality of the product. Report concerns to Production Manager.


• Sit in on meetings to be a witness when Production Manager is counseling or terminating associates

Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time

Position Requirements

• Ability to stand all day while working at a fast pace


• Ability to walk, bend, crouch, and lift. Use of leg, back and arm muscles.


• Will involve some lifting (usually less than 50 pounds)


• Excellent oral communication skills


• Highly competent in math and statistics


• Ability to multi-task


• Proficient with Microsoft Office and use of proprietary software


• 2-4 years of supervisory experience is a plus
