Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Service Bureau at our DeSoto, Texas facility. You will supervise a team, manage workflow, and ensure safety, quality, and timely production.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, inventory, and ERP systems, while leading performance reviews and staff development. On-site role with strong emphasis on safety and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; business degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in the production or printing industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience leading teams.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Intermediate PC skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with ERP systems.

• Maintain ERP system programs for inventory tracking, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate cycle counts and material movements.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, maintain clean work areas, and perform pre-shipment quality checks.

About the role

As a Production Supervisor at Avery Dennison, you will supervise the activities of associates in the Service Bureau production department. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment functionality and maintenance, managing material inventory to meet production demands, and leading team members to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

This is an on-site position located at our DeSoto, Texas facility.

Supervise, recruit, train, develop, and conduct performance reviews for Service Bureau associates and leads in accordance with company policies.

Coordinate all daily production workflow, scheduling, and department responsibilities to ensure customer orders and job tickets are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Oversee all Service Bureau equipment functionality, maintenance, upkeep, and repairs to maintain optimal operational performance.

Maintain ERP system programs for inventory tracking, resolve inventory discrepancies, and coordinate cycle counts and material movements.

Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, maintain clean and safe work areas, and perform pre-shipment quality checks to eliminate errors.
