Job summary

Munters Corporation (Daleville, VA) is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to coordinate daily production activities and direct the workforce across multiple shifts. You will work with multiple departments to meet output and quality targets while maintaining a safe work environment.

The role requires leadership experience in assembly, refrigeration, or electrical environments, strong communication, and the ability to train and develop staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 3 years of experience as a cell lead or supervisor in assembly/refrigeration/electrical.
• Prior leadership/management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct daily production activities on day shifts (and other shifts as needed).
• Organize and direct the department to meet production demands.
• Ensure on-time completion of internal and external orders.
• Maintain safety and organized work area; ensure adherence to output and quality standards.
• Train and develop direct reports; assist in recruitment and onboarding.

Job Summary:

Responsible for daily coordination of activities and directing employees to manufacture Munters Data Center Equipment and various other catalog equipment. Responsibilities include directing production workers directly or through cell leaders, outlining work assignments and assigning duties to support all production departments. Will work closely with all departments to achieve the above.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing and directing daily activities of production personnel on day shifts (and off shifts as deemed necessary) while maintaining safe and organized work area and adhering to established output & quality standards.
• Responsible for organizing, prioritizing and directing the work of the department to meet production demands.
• Responsible for the on-time completion of orders for both internal and external customers.
• Responsible for meeting production planned labor costs and accurate actual labor entry.
• Responsible for inventory control and issuing of production materials as deemed necessary.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and ensure safe work practices of direct reports.
• Responsible for the skill training and development of all direct reporting production personnel.
• Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires.
• Interface with Human Resources, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Purchasing Personnel, External Suppliers and Customers as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Required Education:

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. 3 years' Experience (Cell Lead)

Skill Requirements:

Strong interpersonal skills. Has a positive and cooperative attitude, with a willingness to help solve problems using the team approach. Ability to work productively on own with minimal direct supervision. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Good organizational and computer skills with standard business computer application software. Minimum 3 years’ work experience in assembly, refrigeration and/or electrical as a supervisor or cell leader. Prior leadership / management experience is desired.

Physical Demands:

Heavy (Lifting 75 lbs. Frequently & Climbing).
