Location: Cumberland, RI

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide safety leadership and be a safety culture role model for 24/7 operating unit personnel.
2. Ensure safety procedure adherence and establish a proactive safety culture within the production unit.
3. Prepare and facilitate plant-wide safety meetings.
4. Ensure compliance with operating permits, rules, and regulations.
5. Provide training, maintain operating procedures, update training materials, and ensure personnel training requirements/documentation are current.
6. Responsible for labor productivity, employee retention, adherence to labor contracts, and employee relations.
7. Manage inventory and ensure customer satisfaction.
8. Focus on continuous improvement and process enhancements.
9. Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving problems.
10. Collaborate with Maintenance and Project Engineering to maintain and improve equipment and units.
11. Issue Process Change Forms and follow up to ensure documentation and closure of changes.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or Business (strongly preferred).
• Experience in Chemical Plant Manufacturing and operating units.
• Supervisor experience.
• Effective leadership skills and ability to work productively in a cross-functional team environment.
