Job summary

3M in Cordova, IL is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of about 15 hourly employees on a 12-hour rotating schedule. You will ensure safe, efficient production, determine staffing needs, and drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements on the shift.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• High School diploma / GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)


• Five (5) years of combined experience in a lead Operator role or equivalent in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university


• Experience in leading full-time, part-time, and contingent hourly production employees.


• Experience with SAP, and Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerBI, etc)


• Skills include the ability to drive change and implement improvement plans for identified areas of improvement.

Shift: 12-hour rotating

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international
