Job summary

Cellofoam North America Inc. is seeking a production supervisor to lead daily shifts, ensure KPI targets are met, and maintain product quality across manufacturing lines.

You will oversee equipment setup, monitor operations, record data, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring a safe, clean, and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Associate degree or equivalent leadership manufacturing experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lead, direct and train others to perform assigned tasks.
• Support and optimize production output driving continuous improvement.
• Mechanical: General knowledge of machinery and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to use and articulate measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, weigh scales).
• Quality Control and Analysis: Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
• Troubleshooting: Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.

Responsibilities

• Directing employees including the assigning of job duties, ensuring KPIs are met and recorded daily.

• Completion of daily production reports and shift paperwork as required.
• Supervise and verify equipment set-up prior to start of a production run.
• Operate and shut down manufacturing equipment.
• Verify order information and produce parts with correct material, density, weight, size, and shape within quality tolerance.
• Record operational data and monitor machine start up.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Coach, develop, counsel, and discipline employees.
• Perform other production duties as requested by supervisor.
• Work with other departments to resolve issues.

Other Information

• Flexibility in working hours to include nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Floor production position – working in production environment majority of time
• Overtime work may be required.
