Job summary

Columbus Brick, a division of General Shale Brick, Inc., seeks a Production Supervisor at the Columbus, MS plant to lead a highly automated, team-focused operation focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will coach teams, coordinate with maintenance, analyze processes, and drive continuous improvement while planning schedules and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Ability to coach and develop employees and drive safety.
• Experience with automated systems or PLCs is a plus.

Columbus Brick, a division of General Shale Brick, Inc., is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our Columbus, MS manufacturing facility. This is an exciting leadership opportunity within a highly automated, team-oriented production environment, where you’ll play a key role in driving safety, quality, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

Lead, coach, and motivate production teams to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.

Foster a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all safety policies and company standards.

Coordinate with maintenance to schedule and oversee equipment repairs, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.

Analyze processes and use problem-solving and critical thinking skills to drive continuous improvement.

Plan and organize production schedules to maximize equipment performance and workforce efficiency.

Oversee production inventory accuracy, including physical counts and inventory adjustments.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage and develop employees.

Solid computer skills and mechanical aptitude in a manufacturing setting.

Experience with PLCs, robotics, or automated systems is a plus.
