Job summary

High5 is seeking a Plant Supervisor to oversee production across two portable plants (Road Base and rip-rap) in Colorado. You will coordinate daily activities with the Plant Manager and hourly workforce to ensure uninterrupted supply and timely delivery to customers.

You will monitor equipment, drive safety adherence, analyze operations data, and support CAPEX project submissions. Strong leadership, communication, and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of related work experience with demonstrated leadership.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• SAP experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supports and assists personnel in achieving timely and efficient production schedules.
• Investigates abnormal operating events, equipment failures, determines causes and makes adjustments, repairs or modifications.
• Performs daily inspections on the plant.

• Analyzes operational data and reconfigures operating areas to provide economical service.
• Oversees overall safety of personnel at the site.
• Documents operations activities in logs and incident reports.
• Maintains effective communications with supervisors and customer service.
• Facilitates staff meetings and safety toolbox talks.
• Communicates financial goals to direct reports and ensures daily activities support goals.

Job description

Primarily responsible for the oversight, coordination and planning of daily production activities to ensure

uninterrupted supply, and delivery of product to our customers across two portable plants, one producing

Road Base and the other producing rip-rap. Working closely with the Plant Manager and hourly workforce,

enhances efficiencies in operations, while maintaining a strong safety culture. This role will also support the

Colorado Front Range Aggregates Business in submiting Capex projects for approval and managing

inventory levels in SAP.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Supervises, coordinates and monitors plant activities to include the maintenance of equipment.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education:

Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent experience

Required Work Experience:

Three (3) to five (5) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Demonstrated leadership. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Required Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Word and PowerPoint. SAP experience helpful.

Additional Requirements:

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Client approved
• Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable
• law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
