JOB DESCRIPTION

Salary Range (Hourly): $69,700.00 - $109,700.00 USD Annual

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Production Supervisor - Night Crew
7:00pm - 7:00am
Alternate 3 days one week; 4 days the next
Come join our Colonial Heights, VA facility where we manufacture Trojan condoms and Scent Booster in-wash additives.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Production Supervisor will facilitate the coordination of personnel, equipment, and product to meet and maintain safety, quality, production, and efficiency standards. Ensures compliance with all FDA, ISO, and OSHA regulations, company policies, and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• *Follow SOPs, company policies, safety practices, quality standards, Lean manufacturing practices, and GMP.
• Responsible for on-the-job training and orientation of personnel.
• Manage operations of machines and coordinate with maintenance or engineering.
• Maintain attendance records, counsel, and discipline employees as per company policy.
• Prepare daily production reports, Process Orders, DHRs, PPRs, Pallet Placards, and other records.
• Review production documents for accuracy before forwarding to Quality Control.
• Review equipment operating conditions and coordinate with Maintenance.
• Monitor quality data and assist troubleshooting.
• Assist with production planning and scheduling.
• Lead or participate in Lean activities and problem-solving.
• Oversee shift start-up and attend meetings, presenting department status.
• Manage supplies, perform inventories, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Work overtime as required.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

Four-year college degree and at least four years' experience in high-speed manufacturing, such as pharmaceuticals, consumer products, food, or medical devices.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to read and understand English and complete required forms.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Organizational, communication, and computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Lean tools and principles.
• Ability to operate electrical and hand tools safely.
