Job summary

Nestlé Purina Clinton is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of technicians, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency on 2nd shift (3pm–11pm) with weekend work. You will coach staff, manage schedules, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional leadership to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment
• 1+ years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee development of team through progression Plan adherence.
• Oversee performance of team including coaching, issuing corrective actions, recognizing performance, and monitoring full associate life cycle.
• Coach and develop staff on continuous improvement efforts, TPM, and leadership skills.
• Collaborate with cross functional factory leadership team to ensure end-to-end performance success.
• Coordinate work schedules, overtime, and Permits to Work.
• Utilize problem-solving and tools to reduce equipment downtime.
• Lead projects focused on performance improvement and personal development including sponsorship of continuous improvement efforts.
• Deliver KPIs within area of responsibility such as operational efficiency, downtime, and staffing utilization.

As a Production Supervisor, you’ll lead by example as you foster and engage in a culture of standards that promotes the highest level of safety and quality throughout our processes. Coach and develop a team of technicians who will work across functions to ensure top-notch equipment performance throughout the operation day. Oversee your team’s career development as you help them achieve performance goals in their area of responsibility.

Must be open to 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm) and weekend work.

Salary: $75,229.20 to $99,782.00 per year

Bonus Eligibility: Yes

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
