Job summary

MCPC is seeking a Production Supervisor in Cleveland, Ohio to ensure processes, personnel and equipment are aligned to achieve area objectives. You will monitor inventory, manage backlogs, and drive process improvements on the production floor.

The role requires strong leadership, safety compliance, and hands-on supervision of daily audits and 5S/governance activities. Join a team focused on meeting production goals and customer SLA commitments.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years supervisor experience in a production environment.
  • Reverse logistics and CE returns processing experience a plus.
  • ITAD experience a plus.
  • PC literate with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting concepts and techniques.
  • Strong leadership and motivation skills.
  • Attention to detail, well organized, accurate.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team driven customer service environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory and replenish auditors as required to maintain production goals.
  • Maintain inventory backlog within customer SLA.
  • Evaluate processes and make improvement recommendations.
  • Identify employee performance exceptions and take corrective action.
  • Complete daily quality audits.
  • Ensure team adheres to Safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure team is following work instructions.
  • Achieve cost and production objectives.
  • Complete daily Cycle Counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Complete weekly 5S audits and maintain housekeeping goals.
  • Complete weekly Safety audits and correct any issues identified.
  • Ensure new business requirements are properly launched on the production floor.
  • Address internal and external customer issues.
  • Maintain consumable supplies inventory.
  • Monitor and track employee attendance, quality, safety and production performance.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations.
  • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct training and ensure backups are trained and staffed for key positions.
  • Implement personnel/operational policies and procedures.
  • Spend 100% of workday on the warehouse and production floor.
  • Hold daily team meetings.

STAD Production Supervisor
Position Overview

Ensures processes, personnel and equipment are available and aligned to achieve the objectives of assigned area.

Key Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Monitor inventory and replenish auditors as required to maintain production goals
  • Maintain inventory backlog within customer SLA
  • Evaluate processes and make improvement recommendations
  • Identify employee performance exceptions and take immediate corrective action with the appropriate personnel
  • Complete daily quality audits
  • Ensure team adheres to Safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure team is following work instructions

Education

Experience and Educational Requirement necessary to the job (Describe what background training or equivalent experience is necessary to qualify for this position):

  • An associate degree in related field is preferred

Physical Requirements

Occasional sitting, focusing on and operating a computer several times a day. Ability to read printed words and numbers in printed form and on computer/terminal monitor. Performing work through repetitive eye/hand coordination. Daily lifting up to 25 lbs. up to 5 minutes at a time. Daily carrying up to 25 lbs. up to 5 minutes at a time. Constant standing, walking, stooping. Constant reaching, handling products. Able to use a Pallet Jack and move materials weighing up to 750 lbs. Ability to operate a forklift. Regular attendance and punctuality are an essential job function of this position. In addition, the duties of this job need to be performed inside of our offices (unless authorized due to extraordinary circumstances by your manager and Human Resources) for the purpose of interaction and collaboration with colleagues and/or clients as necessary, the ability to adequately supervise the associate, and/or the availability of necessary equipment utilized for regular job functions. MCPc allows four pre-approved work at home days annually.

Salary Range

$55,000 - $70,000
