Position: Production Supervisor (3rd Shift) at our Chaska location. This role oversees all aspects of manufacturing in the Food Ingredient Division, organizing and monitoring workflow, developing cost-effective processes, reducing waste, increasing productivity and employee satisfaction, troubleshooting processes, providing ongoing training, and ensuring worker safety through policy compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedule production and set work schedules.
• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate employees, including performance monitoring and placement to optimize productivity.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and boost productivity.
• Lead the team in applying Good Manufacturing Practices for food and feed safety.
• Maintain workflow by monitoring process steps, adjusting variables, overseeing control points and equipment, and managing personnel and resources.
• Coordinate with R&D to troubleshoot product quality issues and implement adjustments.
• Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, setting priorities, and monitoring progress.
• Resolve personnel issues through data analysis and problem investigation.
• Lead incident investigations, utilizing CI tools to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain a food safety culture, including food defense, quality, and cGMP compliance in production and warehousing.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
• At least five years of relevant manufacturing experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• At least five years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
