Reports To: Production Manager / Plant Manager

Position Summary:

Our client is hiring for a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations at our Charlotte, NC facility. This individual will lead a team of production workers, ensuring the efficient, safe, and timely manufacturing of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and adjust work assignments to meet changing demands.
• Troubleshoot production issues and work with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment or process problems.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as efficiency, quality, and downtime.
• Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.).
• Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational consistency.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and lead a team effectively.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production tracking software.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights or weekends as needed.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate machinery or production tools as needed.
• Exposure to loud noise, moving mechanical parts, and other industrial conditions.
