Responsibilities

• Lead shift to meet KPI goals in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture.
• Review daily production schedule to plan work and assign personnel.
• Supervise and direct shift personnel in operations per policies and procedures, including safety training.
• Coordinate workflow and foster teamwork to meet shift/department objectives.
• Complete assigned standard work and maintain compliance with procedures.
• Identify causes of KPI misses and prepare recovery plans.
• Report KPI misses to production/human resources with corrective actions.
• Conduct orientation and training of new hires, including safety policies.
• Ensure 6S standards are sustained across the shift.
• Manage punch requests, PTO, and weekly timesheets for payroll.
• Available for overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Location: Bonham, TX 75418, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $22.00 - $29.00 Hourly, Job Shift: 1st Shift,

• Responsible for assuring assigned shift meets key performance indicator (KPI) goals in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture.
• Reviews daily production schedule for the department to plan work and personnel assignments for the shift.
• Supervises and directs personnel on shift in performing operations according to sound operating principles and company policies and procedures. Includes safety training and company safety and accident prevention procedures.
• Coordinates workflow and develops teamwork to attain shift/department objectives.
• Completes assigned standard work in the frequencies prescribed.
• Anticipates and determines causes of misses in shift’s KPIs.
• Reports promptly to production manager and/or site manager when KPI misses occur. Estimates impact on overall operation and prepares recover plans and corrective actions.
• Prepares required forms for shift employees and forwards them to production manager and/or human resources for approval.
• Conducts orientation and training of new hires, including safety policies and procedures.
• Ensures 6S standards are sustained.
• Manages and approves employee punch request, PTO, weekly timesheet for payroll processing.
• Available to work overtime as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Supervisory and/or management experience in a manufacturing environment, with machining and assembly processes required
