Big Tex Trailer Manufacturing Llc in Batavia Township, OH, seeks a skilled supervisor to lead hourly manufacturing teams and drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance across the department.

The ideal candidate will enforce procedures, coach teammates, participate in continuous improvement, and ensure 5S and housekeeping standards are upheld while coordinating with other departments.

Formación

• 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
• Self-directed and motivated to accomplish tasks for the company.
• Detail oriented with strong data entry skills into manufacturing/inventory systems.

Responsabilidades

• Enforce all company procedures / work standards.
• Ensure team members follow procedures and perform at company standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Develop and train backup team members for key jobs.
• Promote teamwork and build strong teams.
• Maintain safety rules and investigate/report accidents.
• Coordinate with other departments on quality, manpower, equipment and production needs.
• Ensure 5S and housekeeping requirements are followed.

Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will demonstrate success in manufacturing operations while leading a team of hourly employees. This role will be responsible for leading efficient manufacturing practices. Most importantly, the candidate will be accountable for delivering Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost throughout the department.Job ResponsibilitiesEnforce all company procedures / work standards. Make sure team members are producing at company standards and that they are following company procedures.Participate in continuous improvement activities.Make sure all team members are trained to effectively perform their job duties. Develop and train back up team members for key jobs.
