Nesco Resource, LLC in Avon, OH seeks a Production Supervisor to lead the production department, manage staff and equipment, and ensure processes meet strict quality standards. You will enforce policies, uphold safety, and drive on-time performance.

You will mentor a team, identify training needs, pursue continuous improvement, and coordinate with other departments to meet demand. A strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency is required.

Qualifications

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
LOCATION: AVON, OH

JOB DUTIES

• Oversee the production department – people, equipment, process
• Ensure production meets or exceeds standards with the highest level of quality
• Enforce company policies and goals timely, fairly, and consistently
• Ensure that health and safety guidelines are strictly followed and enforced
• Supervise and motivate a team of workers. Able to hold people accountable
• Identify, implement, and drive continuous improvement activities
• Review workers' performance. Provides meaningful feedback often and consistently
• Identify training needs and provide opportunities for cross-training and career development
• Meets required deadlines. Communicates potential issues early in the process with the shareholders and advises recovery options.
• Ensures all required reporting needs are met timely and accurately
• Reviews work orders for accuracy and verify all materials are available prior to working on the job
• Coordinates with other departments to ensure material needs are being processed in order to meet demand

REQUIRED SKILLS

• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience
• Effectively communicate with coworkers, management and customer.

Salary $31-$39

Shift 2nd (3 pm to 11:30 Monday through Friday) (OT as needed)
