Job summary

Nesco Resource, LLC in West Chester, OH is seeking a Production Line Specialist for onsite food manufacturing on a 12-hour, 6am–6pm shift (Fri–Sun). You will operate a station on the production line and ensure outputs meet specifications.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to perform basic arithmetic; familiarity with GMPs and food safety is expected. Overtime, weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year or less of applicable job experience.
• Basic arithmetic skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units.
• Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and operations preferred.
• Experience in cross-functional teamwork and collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Operate the station on a food production line to meet daily production schedule.
• Ensure products meet quality specifications.
• Follow GMPs and food safety practices; enforce food defense techniques.
• Monitor products to ensure high quality and adherence to specs.
• Perform duties safely and in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Clean and sanitize the production area.
• Inform supervisor/manager of equipment malfunctions or production issues.
• Be flexible for overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

The Production Line Specialist is responsible for food manufacturing and processing in an assembly line.

Job Duties

• This position operates the station on a food production line and produces food products within specifications as required on the daily schedule
• Responsible for producing food products within the specified quality requirements
• Follows and promotes Food Safety and practicing and enforcing all GMPs and appropriate food defense techniques
• Monitors products as they are produced to ensure high quality and that product meets all specifications
• Performs duties in a safe manner and comply with all regulations and company policies
• Cleans and sanitizes the production area in the facility
• Informs supervisor and/or manager of any equipment malfunctions or other production issues as they arise
• Must be flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays upon occasion
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year or less of applicable job experience
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and operations preferred
