nVent is seeking a 2nd shift manufacturing leader in Minneapolis to guide production teams from 3PM to 11:30PM. You will train, coach, and review performance, while driving Lean improvements to meet commitments and enhance safety and efficiency.

You should bring a high school diploma or GED (BA is a plus) and 3+ years of manufacturing experience with Lean experience. The role offers comprehensive benefits and career opportunities within a global organization.

This is a 2nd Shift role that runs from 3PM - 11:30PM.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Directly lead production employees, including training, directing, conducting performance reviews, educating, and mentoring on performance.
• Look after day-to-day production activities to ensure that current commitments are achieved while improvements are being made.
• Handle daily performance through the use of process center communication boards daily.
• Be a change agent and drive out waste throughout the manufacturing operation through the deployment of the Lean methodology.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment for all employees, emphasizing prevention of potential problems and hazardous conditions, and supports nVent's safety programs.
• Review and submit payroll hours on a weekly basis, entering exception hours as needed.
• Support new process and product development and implementation.
• Develops key improvement projects and fulfills related duties as needed.

YOU HAVE:

• High school diploma or G.E.D
• BA Degree is a plus
• Ideally 3 + years manufacturing experience, with a preference for manufacturing leadership experience preferred
• Ideally 2+ years of experience in Lean manufacturing, with a strong ability to articulate and apply Lean concepts and methodologies.

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$62,900.00 - $116,900.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
