Position Title: Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations of the manufacturing floor, ensuring that production processes run efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. This role involves managing a team of production workers, maintaining quality standards, and meeting production targets.The right person for this job will be comfortable running a team and keeping individuals accountable.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Supervision:

• Manage and supervise a team of production workers, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to ensure high morale and productivity.
• Production Management:
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities to meet production schedules and targets.
• Ensure efficient utilization of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Quality Control:
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Address and resolve any production issues that arise, ensuring minimal impact on production schedules.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and maintenance, to optimize production processes.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production output, downtime, and material usage.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including key metrics and progress towards goals.
• Inventory and Materials Management:
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure adequate supply and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to manage material orders and deliveries.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Millwork experience is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  
  

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be hands-on when needed.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
  
  

Work Environment

There are two shifts available for this position:

Monday- Friday 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM

Monday- Friday 1:00 PM- 9:30PM

• Be available for overtime as required to meet production targets and deadlines.
• In office position in Anaheim, CA
• Flexibility to work additional hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary.
