Job summary

KP Recruiting Group is assisting a Bloomsburg, PA facility in seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a hands-on manufacturing team of 10–35 employees on a 2-3-2 night shift schedule (6:00 PM–6:00 AM). You will coach hourly workers, drive continuous improvement, and partner with production leadership to keep operations safe and on schedule.

You will champion EHS initiatives, monitor metrics, and ensure quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, farming, or military environments.
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Unionized manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a production team of 10–35 employees.
• Champion environmental, health & safety (EHS) initiatives.
• Coach hourly employees and drive employee engagement.
• Spend significant time on the plant floor supporting and developing your team.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, standardized work, work balancing, product flow, and TPM.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor production, quality, safety, and performance metrics.
• Ensure production goals and customer commitments are consistently achieved.
• Manage crew assignments, scheduling, and overtime.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Partner with other supervisors and departments to maintain smooth product flow.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and labor agreements.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and team performance.
• Build a culture focused on safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer service.

Lead a Production Team — With a Schedule Built for Work-Life Balance

We’re hiring Production Supervisors to lead manufacturing teams at a well-established facility in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and driving measurable results across safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement.

You’ll lead a team of approximately 10–35 employees while working closely with production leadership to keep operations running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

The Night Shift Schedule

6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

The role follows a 2-3-2 rotating schedule, giving you every other weekend off and a built-in 3-day break every other week.

Week 1

• Monday–Tuesday: Work
• Saturday–Sunday: Work

Week 2

• Monday–Tuesday: OFF
• Saturday–Sunday: OFF
• Weeks over 40 hours are paid overtime
• 36-hour weeks are paid as 40 hours

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, farming, or military environments
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong communication and people-leadership skills
• Ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced production environment
• Analytical and results-oriented mindset
• Experience with continuous improvement is a plus
• Unionized manufacturing experience is highly desirable
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available
