Job Description

S3 is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Production Supervisor to lead operations at our client's central production facility. This location serves as the hub for all of their retail and route stores, making it a critical part of their success. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and building a strong team culture in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and Develop the Production Team: Provide clear direction and coaching to team leads and production staff across all departments — including pressing, spotting, assembly, and packaging.
  2. Drive Performance and Efficiency: Ensure the plant meets or exceeds key performance indicators (KPIs), with a focus on labor percentage targets.
  3. Support Individual Goals: Help team members achieve their targets through feedback, coaching, and performance tracking.
  4. Foster a Positive Work Culture: Motivate and engage team members in a physically demanding environment — early mornings, hot conditions, and standing throughout the day.
  5. Manage Workflow and Scheduling: Monitor and adjust daily production to ensure timely, accurate processing and efficiency.
  6. Maintain Quality Standards: Uphold high standards for care and finishing across all customer orders.
  7. Solve Problems Quickly: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, equipment issues, and personnel challenges with professionalism and urgency.
  8. Ensure Safety and Organization: Promote a safe, clean, and organized workplace by enforcing safety protocols and best practices.

Note: Detailed performance expectations related to equipment maintenance, plant KPIs, and bonus eligibility are outlined separately in the Production Manager Performance Plan.

Qualifications
  1. 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in production, manufacturing, or operations.
  2. Strong people leadership skills — with a proven ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
  3. Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  4. Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment.
  5. Passion for efficiency, continuous improvement, and team success.

Full-time, early morning schedule.

Physically active and demanding environment — must be able to lead by example and stay fully engaged on the production floor.
