Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking a Production Superintendent to lead daily manufacturing operations in a high-volume extrusion environment. This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety culture, performance, and engaging employees across multiple shifts.

You will own daily production execution, develop supervisors, and partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and HR to optimize staffing and performance. A strong leader who can drive results in a fast-paced plant is ideal.

We're hiring a Production Superintendent to lead daily manufacturing operations for a highvolume extrusion department. This is a handson leadership role with direct impact on safety, performance, and employee engagement-ideal for an experienced manufacturing leader ready to step into a visible, growthoriented position.

In this role, you'll own production execution across multiple shifts, lead and develop supervisors and production teams, and partner closely with Operations leadership to solve problems and improve performance. You'll play a key role in building a strong safety culture, driving accountability, and developing the next generation of manufacturing leaders.

What You'll Lead

• Drive execution of the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) program
• Conduct safety meetings, observations, and coaching
• Identify hazards, support incident investigations, and ensure corrective actions are completed

What We're Looking For

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience (Superintendent, Production Manager, Lead Supervisor, or similar experience preferred)
• Strong people leadership, organization, and problemsolving skills
• Ability to lead in a fastpaced, productiondriven environment
