Job summary

Heidtman Tubular seeks a Material Handler with forklift and overhead crane experience for 2nd and 3rd shifts in Kentucky. You will move steel, inspect materials, and assist production while following safety guidelines.

This is a physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Openings include 2nd and 3rd shifts with pay starting at $20.51 per hour, plus shift differential and a monthly incentive.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience, overhead crane operation and material handler experience is a plus.
• Experience driving a forklift, overhead crane, material handler, and steel handler experience is desired.

Preferred but not required similar background/experience/skills - Prior manufacturing experience where you have operated a forklift, overhead crane, machine operator or, have had a role as a material handler, steel processor, steel handler or set up is a plus.

Requirements

You should be computer literate in order to maintain associated production documents. Experience driving a forklift, overhead crane, material handler, and steel handler experience is desired. This is a physically demanding job which requires standing, bending, twisting, stooping and the ability to move up to 50 lbs.

Prior experience in machine operation and/or steel manufacturing experience is preferred for Slitter Opportunities; prior experience operating steel slitter machines is a bonus.
