Job Summary

The Production Specialist (MFG Operations Support) provides administrative, training coordination, and operational support within the Manufacturing organization. This role is responsible for managing the admin/training support team, maintaining office environment and supply readiness, coordinating meetings and site activities, ensuring document and record control, supporting employee engagement and welfare programs, and responding to urgent or emergency situations. The position requires strong execution discipline, cross-functional communication, KPI tracking, and the ability to support manufacturing leadership with timely reporting and escalation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain daily/weekly KPI trackers and dashboards across productivity, quality, delivery, cost, and training compliance; provide clear status visibility to leadership.
  • Identify performance gaps and drive closure through disciplined action tracking, including assigning owners, setting due dates, and escalating risks when needed.
  • Prepare recurring management updates and operational summaries highlighting key issues, open actions, bottlenecks, and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional action items for manufacturing initiatives and projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups are completed on schedule.
  • Lead and support the admin/training team to ensure timely execution of daily operational support tasks and consistent follow-through.
  • Plan and coordinate training logistics (scheduling, rosters, attendance, and completion tracking) to support manufacturing readiness and compliance requirements.
  • Develop, organize, and maintain training materials (SOPs, job aids, slide decks, quizzes, sign-in sheets, and training handouts) to ensure content is standardized, current, and controlled by revision.
  • Generate training reports and compliance summaries (completion status, overdue lists, coverage/skill matrix, and audit readiness packages) and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Manage training and administrative documentation control, ensuring accurate record retention, version control, and traceability for internal and customer audits.
  • Support onboarding coordination and employee support requests within Manufacturing, ensuring a smooth employee experience and timely issue resolution.
  • Communicate urgent site issues effectively and elevate critical situations promptly with concise status updates and closure tracking.
Required Qualifications
  • An Associate’s degree (or higher) with 1+ year of related work experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
  • Strong ability to manage shopfloor execution, prioritize issues, and drive quick recovery actions under pressure.
  • Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively across multiple functions.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing quality concepts and problem-solving methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
  • Possession of an OSHA 10‑Hour General Industry training certificate
  • Multilingual communication skills preferred, including English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese, with the ability to work in cross‑cultural teams.
Work Authorization & Scheduling Requirements
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to support flexible working hours, including shift changes, weekends, and overtime as needed to support production and urgent escalations.
