Job summary

SBH Fashion in New York City seeks an experienced Production Specialist to support footwear development and production from style creation through bulk production and delivery. You will manage costing, purchase orders, logistics, and import compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has deep footwear production knowledge, ERP proficiency, and the ability to coordinate multiple styles and factories while maintaining accurate records and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in apparel and/or footwear production, with a strong background specifically in footwear production.
• Hands-on experience with footwear development, product costing, style creation, and PO management and tracking.
• Working knowledge of import, customs clearance, and international logistics for FOB shipments
• ERP experience with listed systems or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Support footwear development and production processes from style creation through bulk production and shipment.
• Create and manage styles, costing, and product data within the ERP system.
• Enter, manage, and track purchase orders (POs) from issuance through factory shipment and delivery.
• Build and maintain product costing, including factory FOB costs, duty, freight, and landed cost analysis.
• Work closely with import logistics for FOB shipments from overseas ports to customers and to the company's 3PL warehouse in California.
• Knowledge of import compliance and customs documentation, including harmonized tariff classification, entry documents, and broker coordination.
• Track production calendars and critical paths, flagging delays and driving on-time delivery across multiple factories.
• Communicate daily with overseas factories and agents on production status, quality, and shipping schedules.
• Partner with design, sales, and customer service teams to ensure production timelines align with customer delivery windows.
• Maintain accurate production, shipping, and inventory records within the ERP system.
• Confirmation samples, TOP samples and marketing samples management
• Generate UCC-128 labels for overseas factories to ship FOB POs

We are a New York City-based footwear company that designs and manufactures product overseas, ships FOB from origin port to a portfolio of wholesale customers, and lands goods at our 3PL warehouse in California. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team on-site in NYC.

Position Summary

The Production Coordinator will support footwear development and production from initial style creation through delivery, managing costing, purchase orders, logistics, and import/customs compliance. This role requires strong footwear production knowledge, ERP proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple styles and factories simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with footwear development, product costing, style creation, and PO management and tracking.
• Working knowledge of import, customs clearance, and international logistics for FOB shipments
• ERP experience required; ApparelMagic, Full Circle, Blue Cherry, SAP, M3, Xorosoft, or AIMS360 preferred, but other similar systems are acceptable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple styles, POs, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfort working across ERP and reporting systems.
• Math proficiency and strong understanding of profit margin calculations, duty rates, freight and taxes

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese strongly preferred.
• APICS certification (or similar supply chain/production certification) a plus.
• College degree not required if sufficiently experienced in footwear production with known brands
