Evolution Motion Solutions in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Production Shop Technician (Hourly, M-F) to support receiving, organizing, and preparing materials, assist with assembly, and maintain inventory accuracy in a hands-on shop environment. The role requires basic tools proficiency, safe operation of material-handling equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to follow work instructions.

This is a practical, entry-level manufacturing position with opportunities for growth and skill

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use common hand/power tools.
• Experience with measuring tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming materials.
• Prepare and stage materials for shipment or delivery.
• Assist with assembly, fabrication, and shop projects as directed.
• Safely use hand/power tools and measure equipment.
• Operate material-handling equipment after training.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Identify issues and alert supervisor as needed.
• Support deliveries and transportation of materials.
