Job Description:

The Production Shift Supervisor is a salaried supervisory position responsible for all shift operations and acts as the liaison between hourly staff and Production Management. The shift schedule is 12 hours (36/48 per week), requiring work every other weekend and scheduled holidays.

Qualifications:

• Safety: Serves as safety champion to promote safe behavior and wellness; actively participates on the Safety Committee; trains, supports, and enforces safety policies and procedures.
• Personnel: Coordinates staffing and line assignments; approves employee time and attendance in ADP; participates in performance reviews; identifies training needs and ensures training; enforces company policies and disciplines employees as needed; ensures personnel are trained for current and future roles.
• Quality & Product Output: Oversees quality testing on samples and trains staff accordingly.
• Facility: Acts as on-site contact after hours for emergencies; manages facility systems, alarms, and utilities.

Profile and Background:

• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
