EAM-Mosca Corp., Hazle Township PA, a dynamic market leader in end-of-line automated packaging machinery and consumable strapping solutions, is seeking a driven Production Shift Supervisor (Nightshift).

EAM-Mosca is privately held and maintains a focused, entrepreneurial culture. The company serves a blue-chip client base of successful North and South American manufacturing firms, offering a portfolio of standard and custom-engineered packaging machinery solutions, complemented by quality technical service and aftersales support.

Job Description:

The Production Shift Supervisor is a salaried supervisory role responsible for all shift operations and acts as the liaison between hourly staff and Production Management. The position involves 12-hour shifts (36/48 hours per week), working every other weekend and scheduled holidays.

Qualifications:
Safety:
  • Serve as safety champion, promoting safe behavior and wellness.
  • Participate actively on the Safety Committee; train, support, and enforce safety policies and procedures.
Personnel:
  • Coordinate staffing coverage and line assignments.
  • Approve employee time and attendance in ADP.
  • Participate in employee performance reviews; identify training needs and ensure training is provided.
  • Enforce company policies and disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Ensure personnel are trained for current and future roles.
Quality & Product Output:
  • Oversee quality testing on samples; provide appropriate training.
Facility:
  • Serve as on-site contact after hours for emergencies.
  • Manage facility systems, including alarm systems and utilities understanding.
Profile and Background:
  • Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the plastic extrusion industry is preferred.
