Job summary

Ascend Staffing is seeking a Manufacturing / Production Shift Supervisor for a growing facility in Shelton, WA. This hands-on role partners with the production team to uphold safety, quality, productivity and teamwork on the shift.

You will lead and coach the production crew, monitor performance, oversee equipment, and maintain accurate production and downtime records. The position starts with day‑shift training and progresses to a 4:00 PM–2:30 AM schedule. Full‑time employment offered.

Qualifications

• 35 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or fast-paced production environments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to coach, train, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Wood products or pellet manufacturing experience is a plus.

Schedule: Monday Thursday, 4:00 PM 2:30 AM

Training: Day shift training for approximately 90 days

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for approximately 80% of the shift
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
