Job summary

Röchling SE & Co. KG in Duncan, SC seeks a Production Supervisor to lead shift teams of operators, setters, quality staff, and others. You will ensure the daily production schedule is executed while upholding safety, quality, and productivity goals.

You will monitor OEE and KPIs, coach employees, manage staffing, training, and handovers, and foster a culture of Kaizen and 5S for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production staff in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and lean practices.
• Ability to interpret production KPIs and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Direct leadership of operators, setters, and shift personnel on a daily basis.
• Ensure production schedule adherence while meeting safety and quality targets.
• Assign work based on qualifications and staffing needs.
• Coordinate breaks, overtime, and short-term workforce planning.
• Act as first escalation point for production issues.
• Monitor OEE, productivity, scrap, and safety metrics and drive improvements.
• Maintain training records and coordinate required training.
• Foster 5S and a positive team culture focused on continuous improvement.
