Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is recruiting a Production Shift Supervisor for our client in Commack, NY. You will lead start-ups, assign tasks, and manage resources to maximize productivity and safety.

You will monitor operations, enforce GMP/SOPs, and drive quality on a fast-paced line. Strong leadership and problem-solving will help you coach staff and sustain continuous improvement on the production floor.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in manufacturing with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Familiarity with GMPs and adherence to SOPs.
• Basic understanding of production processes and quality inspection methods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lead production line start-ups, assigning tasks and resources.
• Routinely monitor operations to ensure compliance and support personnel.
• Achieve production schedules while upholding safety, quality, and productivity.
• Coach and motivate team members to improve safety, quality, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
• Direct or implement corrective actions during emergencies or unusual operations.
