Job summary

Roquette in Keokuk, IA is seeking a Production Shift Team Leader for Refinery C/D, Refinery F/SPU and CSU. You will supervise a bargaining unit shift to ensure safe actions, environmental compliance and high-quality production in a GMP food-grade operation.

The role involves leading shift activities, coordinating maintenance planning, coaching employees, and driving improvements to achieve targeted efficiencies and yields.

Qualifications

• Education: BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1-3 years in a food/chemical continuous processing plant or 3-5 years supervisory leadership preferred.
• Industry: prior chemical or sugar processing experience preferred.
• Leadership: strong coaching and communication skills.
• Project execution: experience in driving projects to improve safety, compliance and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift production activities to ensure safe, compliant and quality work.
• Support projects and programs to improve safety, compliance and quality performance.
• Direct, train, and monitor on-shift employees and conduct shift meetings.
• Manage and communicate Key Performance Indicators for the production area.
• Develop employees through training, coaching and performance reviews.
