Job summary

Carma Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Set Up Technician to perform production equipment set-ups, change overs, cleaning, and sanitation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Wisconsin.

The role requires independent execution, development of PM plans and setup checklists, and support for maintenance and facilities tasks. Responsibilities include 5S discipline, inventory accuracy, and documenting standard work while ensuring safety and compliance with GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years in facility or production maintenance.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
• Experience with maintenance tasks and PM practices is preferred.
• Experience in OTC or FDA-controlled environments and GMP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute production equipment set up and change overs.
• Start-up troubleshooting to deliver production-ready systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Create and maintain PM checklists for areas.
• Develop and execute 5S and continuous improvement tasks.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tooling locations.
• Document standard work for routine assignments.
• Support facility safety improvements and signage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
