Job summary

Carma Laboratories Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Set Up Technician to perform production equipment set-ups, change overs, start-up troubleshooting and related PM tasks to deliver production-ready systems.

You will create PM checklists, support 5S, inventory spare parts, and assist the maintenance team while following GMP environments and OTC/FDA controls. The role requires independent work, attention to safety, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously manage, plan and execute production equipment set up, change overs, and start-up troubleshooting.
• Perform equipment set up, start-Up & required troubleshooting tasks to deliver a “Production ready” system.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) duties for assigned equipment.
• Create and maintain necessary PM checklists for assigned areas.
• Develop and execute Continuous Improvement tasks following a PM and 5S discipline.
• Implement and sustain 5S discipline in assigned areas.
• Ensure a clear inventory of spare parts is in place, highlighting tooling location and condition.
• Document relevant standard work for routine assignments.
• Support facility safety-related improvements (e.g.: install signage, floor striping, etc.).
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Summary:This role will be primarily responsible for performing production equipment set-ups, change overs, cleaning and sanitations as applicable for an assigned area of responsibility. This role requires an individual able to execute tasks independently, able to deliver “Production Ready” systems from a set up and change over perspective. As part of the scope of responsibilities, the Set Up Technician will maintain and drive necessary improvements to PM plans and set-up check lists, ensure that assigned tooling is serviced at the appropriate intervals, stored properly, and inventoried effectively.
