Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Security Engineering Manager to lead our Production Security team. You will own the security of the infrastructure that runs Snapchat across AWS and Google Cloud, build the secure path for developers, and set the technical direction for a portfolio of security services.

You will recruit top engineers, shape security culture, and balance operational load with proactive security initiatives while ensuring incident response readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent years of experience in a related technical field.
• 8+ years of post-bachelor's industry experience; or a Master's degree in a technical field + 7+ years of post-grad security experience; or a PhD in a related technical field + 4+ years of post-grad security experience.
• 1+ year(s) of experience as an Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive multi-year technical strategy for securing production infrastructure.
• Translate production risk into a prioritized roadmap with tradeoffs between security outcomes and team productivity.
• Ensure platforms have high quality, reliability, and operational excellence.
