LGC Group in Wisconsin seeks an Associate Production Scientist to manufacture competent cells and support new product development within a GMP-like environment. The role emphasizes adherence to ISO 13485, quality control, and meticulous documentation.

You will contribute to production plans, collaborate with QA, production, and warehousing, and help drive process improvements while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or relevant degree (GED).
• 2+ years of lab experience with biological materials and equipment.
• Experience operating standard lab equipment (pH meters, conductivity meters, pipettes).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manufacture electrocompetent and chemically competent cells.
• Follow designated procedures and quality systems (ISO 13485).
• Prepare and QC finished cell batches.
• Support production by following protocols for robustness and cost-effectiveness.
• Document data per approved protocols with good documentation practices.
• Communicate results to the team and meet production plans.
• Assist with process improvements and investigations.
• Deliver high-quality documentation consistent with quality system.
• Follow PPE and environmental health and safety requirements.
