Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Material Handler in Goleta, CA to support manufacturing processes, scheduling, receiving, and material movement across work cells and labs. The role includes issuing material, maintaining traceability, and ensuring a clean, safe work area in accordance with 5S principles.

Qualifications include 2+ years in a manufacturing/material environment and proficiency with MS Word/Excel and email. Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Manufacturing and/or Material environment required or desired.
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience is desired.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel and email communication.

• Material Scheduling: label, stage, count, issue material in support of schedules.
• Data Entry; maintain documentation and product traceability and system integrity.

Job Summary

At the direction of the cell manager: Supports material within manufacturing process (build/test) and in work cells, labs and departments. Includes scheduling, receiving, inspecting, kitting, moving, processing (issuing), and packaging to meet customer internal and external requirements and commitments.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Material Scheduling: label, stage, count, issue material in support of schedules.
• Data Entry; maintain documentation and product traceability and system integrity.
• Maintain a organize, clean & safe work environment. Includes 5S protocols.
• Inventory Management: counting, bagging, tagging, and stocking.

Job Qualifications

• Good communication skills
• Computer Skills: Word, Excel and Email
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs., unassisted
• 2+ years in a Manufacturing and/or Material environment – desired
• Material Requirements Planning experience -desired

Salary Range: $39,000.00-$52,000.000 The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
