Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing/Material Specialist in Goleta, CA. Under the cell manager, you will support material flow across manufacturing processes, schedule, receive, inspect, kit, move, issue, and package to meet internal and external commitments.

Responsibilities include material scheduling, data entry for traceability, maintaining 5S, and inventory counting and stocking.

Qualifications

• Ability to use Word, Excel and Email.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods and lift 40 lbs.

Job Summary

At the direction of the cell manager: Supports material within manufacturing process (build/test) and in work cells, labs and departments. Includes scheduling, receiving, inspecting, kitting, moving, processing (issuing), and packaging to meet customer internal and external requirements and commitments.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Material Scheduling: label, stage, count, issue material in support of schedules.
• Data Entry; maintain documentation and product traceability and system integrity.
• Maintain a organize, clean & safe work environment. Includes 5S protocols.
• Inventory Management: counting, bagging, tagging, and stocking.

Job Qualifications

• Good communication skills
• Computer Skills: Word, Excel and Email
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs., unassisted
• 2+ years in a Manufacturing and/or Material environment – desired
• Material Requirements Planning experience -desired

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Salary Range: $39,000.00-$52,000.000 The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
